Heard about Carmora through watching the Logbook YouTube channel and so glad I did. I sent an enquiry form in detailing my car information and got a call from Carl very quickly. We discussed the car, I gave an honest assessment of the condition and we agreed a price that worked for both parties. I sent through requested documents and the car was collected about 48 hrs later. It is important to recognise great service. And, that is exactly what I enjoyed from Carmora - from the first conversation with Paul to the last.
I learnt about Carmora through “The Logbook” and paid attention because I knew I would be replacing my own car very soon. When that time came it was a no-brainer to me to try them out. The promise was for a very human experience, personal and not just processed.
After submitting my details and photos of the car I was quickly contacted and we discussed openly expectations. This was done professionally (and with some humour - don’t judge me for driving a Volvo).
Within very little time Paul phoned with a better than expected offer.
Bit of delay waiting for DVLA to return the updated V5 (private plate removed) and collection was scheduled. This was completed by an equally professional, polite and engaging chap (Jon). As soon as he had finished his checks the money was in my account.
Shortly after that a call from Paul to say “thank you” - allowing me to do just the same and repeat that here.

We’d like to share our wonderful experience in selling our Lotus Emira with Carmora. As subscribers to The Logbook YouTube channel (if you haven’t checked them out yet, I can’t recommend them highly enough!) that shows the daily events at the Cubitt Cars dealership in West Yorkshire where Rob, the owner/director and his team absolutely excel at making their videos entertaining, funny, informative, and above all, refreshingly honest, we found out via the channel that Rob is also in partnership with Paul at Carmora Limited, who buy and sell cars.
Recently, we decided to sell our Lotus Emira, as we just hadn’t been using it enough, and it is such a shame to have a beautiful sports car that’s not being driven as much as it should be. What was holding us back from selling was all the hassle usually experienced with traders who often look for faults and try to knock you down on price, and make you feel like they are doing you a favour! So, finding out that Rob was also part of Carmora Limited, we thought we’d give it a go and reached out to them using their online service on Sunday, 10th May. The response was prompt and friendly—Paul let us know he’d be in touch shortly to talk through next steps. Paul messaged us on WhatsApp the same day, asking for some photos and the car’s details, including its spec and service history. Yes! Although in this scenario, you would need to make up the shortfall first via bank transfer and we would then settle the outstanding finance in full, including your contribution.
We have tried to streamline this process as much as possible, but to offer the best possible price we can, there is a couple of extra steps over other online services. These are primarily providing photos of your car and any service history or invoices you may have for work completed. Whilst these photo's aren't required, providing them means we know the exact condition of your car and can offer the most accurate quote possible.

Identification (We ask for 2 forms of ID, this can be your driving licence and a utility bill for example — the bill must match the address on the V5.)
